Why can’t I upgrade my desktop and laptop to Windows 7?

I was all ready to buy a copy of Windows 7–only $30 for college students like me (at http://win741.com) so that I could lose my clunky XP and maybe get some speed and performance, as well as just see what all the fuss is about. Now I might not. You see, Windows 7 only allows you to upgrade one system with a disk. You have to purchase a separate license if you want to install on multiple computers. Even just a desktop and a laptop.

THIS IS NOT RIGHT. I paid for your stupid operating system, I deserve to be able to put it on my computers for one price. Microsoft Office gives you three registration keys. That’s still unfair, but at least it’s more fair. Sorry, Microsoft, you might have just lost a sale. Because if I can’t upgrade both, why even bother upgrading one?
